Collective bargaining in the company OKD, Doprava has been successfully completed. The agreement between the Company and the Trade Unions means that employees' average month wages will increase by three percent from 1 April 2010. This increase compensates employees for last year’s slight drop in real income and at the same time takes into account inflation that is expected for this year. The payroll part of the Collective Agreement is effective until the end of 2010.

The leading domestic transport group OKD, Doprava has the new Human Resources Director. Since March of the current year it is Klara Gombos (51) ,who was so far responsible for worldwide management of human resources of BU Pickups and van at the automotive component parts manufacturer ZF.

After studying laws and economy Klara Gombos worked among others as a member of the municipal council of Hungarian region Heves, a university lector and an executive head of the chamber of handycraft in Heves county. Since 1996 she was leading the human resources department in the company ZF Hungaria and gradually she took over human resources management of business unit among other in Germany, U.S.A. or Brazil.

After twelve years, the company OKD, Doprava discontinued providing public passenger railway transport on railway 313 Milotice nad Opavou – Vrbno pod Pradědem. The company Viamont a.s., which specializes in the passenger railway transport segment in the long term, has become a new provider of this service. OKD, Doprava will remain the rail system operator on this railway.

OKD, Doprava provided for local public passenger railway transport since 1998 when it repaired the railway 313 at its own expense after devastating floods in the summer of 1997. A leading transportation company, OKD, Doprava, joint-stock company, established a new PR and Communications Department at the beginning of February 2010. Petr Jonák (29) has been appointed a Manager of this Department while Kateřina Vavrochová will be responsible for Internal Communications, Brand and CRS.
Petr Jonák is coming from Škoda Auto where he was involved in external relations and communications since 2006. Prior to this role he was working in media as an economic journalist of ČTK in Prague and Brussels and as a reporter for Hospodářské noviny. He studied the University of Economics in Prague. His hobbies are sport, travelling, music or international affairs.
