Arkadiusz Olewnik a new chairman of the board of directors and CEO of AWT

Arkadiusz Olewnik, Member of the Board of Directors of PKP CARGO for Finance, was appointed new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Advanced World Transport a.s. (AWT), which is a member of the PKP CARGO Group. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AWT he replaced Zbigniew Klepacki.

Arkadiusz Olewnik has long-standing experience on managerial positions in enterprises from the railway sector. Between 2005 and 1996, he held the following functions: Member of the Boards – Financial Director in Koleje Mazowieckie (2009-2012), a Representative of the Board for Investment in POC Dipservice (currently Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. – between 2008 and 2009) and Member of the Board – Director for Privatization and Corporate Governance in PKP S.A. (2005-2008).

Between 2005 and 2008 he held a function of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PKP CARGO S.A. And Member of the Supervisory Board of Trade Trans S.A. Since March 2016 he has held the function of the Director of Financial Controlling and Investment Relations Office in PKP CARGO. Between 2013 and 2016 he held a function of an expert in an infrastructural market, realizing, among others, a financial audit in Koleje Śląske Sp. z o.o., or an infrastructural audit for a railway mine of lignite – Konin in Kleczewo. Arkadiusz Olewnik is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of Production Economics.
