Attila István Boros

Attila Boros is the CEO of Advanced World Transport and was appointed in September 2007. His high-level experience comes from previous companies, such as Waberer’s Holding Pte. Co., Hajdú-Bét Rt., Wallis Rt., where he worked in a position similar to his post at AWT. Behind him are many successful changes and improvements in companies he has been employed by. He has been acquiring experience in the business field since 1989. His diploma is from Budapest University of Economics, from which he graduated in Organizational Development and European Business Affairs. He followed this with an MBA from Purdue University, USA.

Ing. Bohumil Bonczek

Bohumil Bonczek, Business Development Director, has been in managerial positions at AWT practically all his professional life. First he was the Chief Operating Officer for more than 20 years. He has been in the position of Logistics Director since 2007. He is a long-time member and currently Vice-Chairman of AWT's Board of Directors. He graduated from the University of Transport and Communication in Žilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communication in 1974.

Andrew Simon Brookie

Andrew Simon Brookie is the Chief Financial Officer of AWT and was appointed in September 2008. He obtained his wide financial experience worldwide in companies like DDB Worldwide - Czech Republic, Olivando – New Zealand, Young and Rubicam Inc. – Hungary. He studied business at Massey University, New Zealand. Subsequently, he improved his education at Harvard University, United States. He has been working in the financial field since 1988 when he joined KPMG International in Hungary.

Ing. David Kostelník

He has been working in AWT since 1999. Since then has worked for many operations and many positions within Advanced World Transport He is Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of subsidiary business of AWT company ŽDD. He graduated from the University of Jan Perner in Pardubice.

Klara Gombos

Klara Gombos is working in AWT from March 2010.
After studying laws and economy Klara Gombos worked among others as a member of the municipal council of Hungarian region Heves and an executive head of the chamber of handycraft in Heves county. Since 1996 she was leading the human resources department in the company ZF Hungaria and she has international experiences.

Financial Director
Ing. Miroslava Vítečková

Ing. Miroslava Vítečková, Financial Director. She has been at AWT since 1987, first in operational and economics positions, later in specialized positions (economist, accountant) and managerial positions at the middle management level (Head of the Accounting Department, Chief Accountant, Head Controller) and in top managerial positions (Head of the Economics Department, Financial Director).  She graduated from the University of Transport and Communication in Žilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communication in 1981.

Chief Operating Officer
Sonny Sonnberger
Sonny Sonnberger is the Chief Operating Officer of AWT and was appointed in June 2010. In his position, he will be responsible for the operation and development of the locomotive and wagon repair shops and reclamation works. The areas of purchase and supplies, as well as the intended area of property management, will also belong to his competences. Sonny Sonnberger has 20+ years of experience in the areas of transportation, logistics, warehousing and sales.

Jaroslav Nový

Jaroslav Nový, Corporate Governance Officer, has been at AWT for almost all of his professional career, since 1975. For years he has served as Secretary of AWT's Board of Directors. He graduated from the University of Technology in Brno, then did further studies at the University of Economics in Prague and the University of Transport in Žilina.
