CEO
Pierre Timmermans

Pierre Timmermans has been leading the AWT Group since October 2011. From 2003 to 2010, Pierre Timmermans headed the European division of global port operator PSA International, having previously worked in the top management of the European forwarding and logistics company Frans Maas. Throughout the 1990s, he also worked for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he was involved in the transport and logistics practices. Pierre Timmermans is a graduate in industrial engineering and tax law.

Edin Sose

Chief Commercial Officer 
Edin Sose

Edin Sose graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Sarajevo University. For a number of years, he worked in Sweden, where he built a prominent trading company operating in the hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) sector. He was appointed as Commercial Director at CS Cargo in 2009. He was responsible, among other areas, for trade, logistics and development.

David Kostelník

Rail Business Line Director 
David Kostelník

David Kostelník has worked for AWT since 1999. Since then he has worked for many operations and held many positions within Advanced World Transport. He is a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board at AWT subsidiary ŽDD. He graduated from the University of Jan Perner in Pardubice.

Martin Cetl

Director of the Forwarding and Logistics Business Line 
Martin Cetl

Martin Cetl studied law at Masaryk University in Brno. He gained extensive experience in transport and logistics in companies such as Transforwarding Rotterdam, P&O Trans European, ČSKD Intrans and Cargo-partner ČR.

Pavel Holomek

Director of the ROSCO Business Line
Pavel Holomek

Pavel Holomek has worked for the group since 2010. In his first role, he managed sales in the ROSCO division. Before then, he worked in managerial positions in the financial services sector at the companies AXA Assistance and Accor Services and in international trade. He studied International Trade and Financial Management of an Enterprise at the University of Economics in Prague and EM Lyon in France.

Andrzej Santarius

Director of the Reclamation Business Unit  
Andrzej Santarius

Andrzej Santarius graduated from the Transport and Communications Faculty at Žlina University. Since 1986 he has worked in OKD, Doprava, a.s. where he has managed ground and reclamation works since 1997.

Bohumil Bonczek

Chief Technical Officer  
Bohumil Bonczek

Bohumil Bonczek has been working at Advanced World Transport a.s. (formerly OKD, Doprava, a.s.) practically all his professional life. He was the Chief Operating Officer for more than 20 years. He has held the position of Logistics Director since 2007. He graduated from the Transport and Communication Faculty at Žilina University. He also completed studies at the Faculty of Rail Transport Operation and Economics in 1974.

David Prchal

CFO 
David Prchal

David Prchal has been working for AWT as CFO since September 2010. His task is to lead and strategically manage all activities in the area of finance and information technology. Before he joined AWT, he worked in the top management of the NWR Group as a Director of Financial Reporting. He studied economics and he has not left the area of finance since he completed his studies.

Dana Janowská

Human Resources Director  
Dana Janowská

Dana Janowská graduated from the Technical University of Ostrava (VŠB). Before she joined the AWT Group, she among other things managed the Strategic and HR Department of the company Ostroj a.s. and worked in the company Medicon. She has been working in the AWT Group since 2010.

Petr Jonák

Director of External Relations  
Petr Jonák

Within the AWT Group, Petr Jonák is responsible for relationships with public institutions on the European, national and regional levels, Group marketing and corporate communication (including PR, internal communication, marketing communication and brand development, sponsoring, and corporate social responsibility). A graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, Petr Jonák  previously worked as an economic editor with the Czech Press Agency (ČTK) and the Hospodářské noviny daily, and as a ČTK reporter in Brussels. From 2006 to 2009, he coordinated external relations for Škoda Auto. He is also a member of the managing board of the OKD Foundation.
