OKD, Doprava, akciová společnost, the Czech leader in logistics and transports, has completed several dynamic changes recently. The company has finished several successful acquisitions and reinforced through that its key position on the market. Our ambition is to be a highly competitive player on the transport and logistics market in Europe and to provide to our customers comprehensive services of the best quality.

We would like to use this opportunity and introduce to you the new name and new brand of our entire group – Advanced World Transport (AWT) which, symbolically, closes one important stage on that way.

As of May 1, 2010 the name of the company OKD, Doprava, akciová společnost will be changed to Advanced World Transport a.s. in the Company Register. At the same time also the company registered office will be changed to the address Hornopolní 3314/38, Ostrava, Moravská Ostrava, ZIP 702 62. Except the change of the business name, logo, visual style and the company registered office nothing is changed on already concluded businesses or legal relations.

The new brand - AWT - we are introducing on the market now combines unique know-how from various areas of logistics and transport with tradition, rich history and many years of experience gained by AWT companies. As it is evoked by the name, the ambition of the AWT group is providing of advanced integrated services in international scale. Its key position will have also other leading players on the market – Čechofracht, SPEDI-TRANS or BlueTrucks as well as our foreign branch offices in Slovakia, Hungary or Belorussia.

We believe that sharing experience within the frame of originating AWT group and connected extension of the offered services will be a benefit for you and also an opportunity how to intensify the existing cooperation and to build up mutual relations at even higher level.
